Nancy and Lamont and their border Collie, "Misty," welcome you to The Pillars of Plainfield Bed and Breakfast Inn and the Bed and Breakfast experience.

Those who stay at B&B's regularly tell us that we're among the very best. But what we especially like is when someone who has never stayed at a B&B stays with us and then says something like: "I had no idea it could be this nice. If we're in this area again, I promise you, we'll be staying here." (Actually, this doesn't surprise us, because hospitality is what we are all about. We want to help you build memories of a special weekend, honeymoon, or anniversary, and will do everything in our power to provide the experience you will be pleased to remember.)

Whether you're an "old hand" at B&B's or someone who's never been to one before - we hope you'll give us a chance to demonstrate what it's all about.

Luxurious private bath suites in restored Victorian mansion. Full Full breakfast with home baking, welcoming wine, area maps, private phone/voice mail, coffee service, data ports, VCR, HBO, turn-down service, evening sherry, soda, chocolates & cookies. Close to New York, Newark, Sandy Hook and New Hope. Four working fireplaces, stained glass windows, secluded grounds with trees and gardens. Non-smoking. Ideal for business or pleasure travelers. Reservations with deposit required. Will accept dogs, but not cats. We have a Border Collie.

Check In/Check Out: 3pm / 11am.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy: Cancellations accepted 48 hours before weekday (Sunday through Thursday evenings) reservations, 14 days before weekend and holiday reservations. Unclaimed reservations charged for all days reserved. Reservations and modifications must be made 24 hours prior to arrival.

WE MUST KNOW YOUR EXPECTED TIME OF ARRIVAL
and be updated when your plans change.
We will provide directions by fax or email.

All rooms are non-smoking.
Please do not bring candles. We will supply enclosed flame candles if you desire.
Children of all ages are welcome if security concerns
have been finalized with the Hales
Cot, crib, playpen and high chair available.

Children age 12 and older are charged at the same rate as adults

New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day cannot be booked online.
