We want our reservation procedure to be stress-free for you as well. We keep our policies simple and give you options for making your reservation.
Booking a Room: You may book directly from this Web site, e-mail your booking request to us, or call at 908-753-0922.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 8 days before the start of your booking. Cancellations made one week or less are in full penalty, and full payment will be charged. For extended stays of a week or more, cancellations must be made at least 15 days in advance. We understand that most last-minute cancellations are made because of unforeseen circumstances, and we are sympathetic; however, B&Bs receive very few last-minute bookings to fill cancelled rooms. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance if you are booking an extended stay.
Smoking: The Pillars is a non-smoking B&B. There are smoking areas outside on the covered front porch and in the back garden.
Candles: Candlelight is romantic, but fires are not! Please request candles from us if you are celebrating a special occasion, and we will provide glass enclosed, safe candles for you.
Check In and Check Out: Check in is from 3:00 PM on; please let us know when you plan to arrive so that we will be home to greet you. Check out is by 11:00 AM.
Children: We welcome children and have a crib and high chair available. We can also add a cot to several of our rooms. Our walls between guest rooms are thick, and young children and infants are usually not heard by our other guests. Please call us to make your reservation so that we can review a few minor safety concerns.
Payment Methods: We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards; Traveler's Checks, cash, and participating gift certificates. We must have a valid credit card number on file at the time of your booking, even if you are paying on arrival by other means. A third party credit card may only be used if arranged for in advance, and we have a signed authorization form on file.
Pets: We welcome guest dogs up to 50 pounds, with a few restrictions. Please call when making your reservation so that we can review our dog policies.
