We have a dog (Misty, our Border Collie) and we understand the needs of travelers who don't want to leave their dogs behind, which is why we are happy to offer pet friendly lodging at The Pillars. Our second floor rooms are available for furry friends. We have a fenced in back yard at our bed and breakfast, a lovely neighborhood for walking, and a large park just four blocks away. There may be other pet friendly hotels in New Jersey, but there is definitely nothing like The Pillars.

If you are traveling with a dog, we welcome you. We have only a few considerations:

• Dogs should be no more than 50 pounds
• Dogs need to be under the owner's control at all times, either in the guest room, on a leash when outside of the guest room, or in a crate in the guest room if the dog must be left at The Pillars without the owner for a time.
• Visiting dogs should use the front door with their owners, while Misty maintains her supremacy over the back door and the kitchen!
• Please, no visiting dogs in the dining room
• There is a small, one-time surcharge of $20 to bring your dog
• Dogs must be willing to play with Nancy and Lamont, romp around the yard, and let other guests pet them!
